Recognition and rhymes: Go Blue Virtual Concert

How do you celebrate Nurses & Hospital Week in the midst of a global pandemic? A virtual concert of course.

In May 2020, HCA Healthcare colleagues tuned into Facebook for With Gratitude: A Virtual Concert Honoring HCA Healthcare Colleagues. The pre-produced, 90-minute concert honored HCA Healthcare’s colleagues and their incredible contributions during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Our events team planned this full-on concert in under two months. The concert featured performances by some of entertainment’s biggest stars including Brad Paisley, Shania Twain, Amy Grant, Jewel, Michael W. Smith, Josh Turner and many more. In all there were 27 celebrity appearances. Each celebrity shared a note of gratitude to our clinical colleagues before performing. The event garnered more than 44,000 views, 2,300 comments and 1,500 shares. The concert also successfully brought more than 275,000 colleagues together while also staying safely 6’ apart.
