HCA Healthcare Hurricane Response

In the fall of 2024, two powerful hurricanes, Helene and Milton made landfall within two weeks of each other, affecting 45 HCA Healthcare facilities, hundreds of patients and thousands of colleagues.

To tell a story of this magnitude, we made multiple trips to the hardest hit areas in Asheville and the surrounding region to interview colleagues who braved life threatening conditions to make sure their patients and colleagues were safe and cared for. Additionally, colleagues in the affected division were able to help source footage and visuals that allowed us to tell the complete story from the point of view of all the areas affected by these storms.
